International Clinical Trials Day: 20 May 2018

In 1747 the first clinical trial was help by James Lind aboard the HMS Salisbury. Lind was interested in looking into the causes of scurvy and conducted his trial with just 12 men.

International Clinical trials days is to acknowledge the work of James Lind and to thank our clinicians, researchers and participants who all work hard to find answers to important clinical questions.
