Overview

The Bionics Institute embarked on developing a bionic eye with the Centre for Eye Research (CERA) in 2007 and is now a proud member of the Bionic Vision Australia (BVA) consortium.

We are using our experience in safety and biocompatibilty studies in the development of safe surgical procedures and electrical stimulation and working with BVA partners to develop new electrodes.
