Ms Joy Tan

Joy Tan is a physiotherapist and part time PhD student at the Bionics Institute/The University of Melbourne. She received her Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Hons) from the University of Melbourne and works concurrently as a physiotherapist at the Royal Melbourne Hospital specialising in movement disorders.  Her research investigates the effects of medication and deep brain stimulation on postural instability in Parkinson’ disease to improve future therapeutic outcomes.
