A neurological condition is a medical problem affecting the brain, the spinal column, or the nervous system. Examples of symptoms include paralysis, muscle weakness, poor coordination, loss of sensation, seizures, confusion, pain and altered levels of consciousness.
There are a wide variety of neurological diseases affecting the brain and nervous system, and treatment varies including drugs and therapy. Current treatments do not always manage the symptoms effectively.
