About the role
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer & Company Secretary, the Intellectual Property (IP) & Contracts Manager will operate across both the IP and Contracts Management.
The position provides critical support for Researchers to protect and manage the IP of Bionics Institute (BI); and ensures that all our contracts conform to legislative requirements and support Institute goals.
In addition, the position is responsible for managing and maintaining an up-to-date contracts register.
About you
As well as being a strong IP & Contracts Manager, success in this role requires the demonstration of:

- high attention to detail and strong administration skills;
- exceptional time management, organisational, and prioritisation skills;
- an established track record of taking initiative and delivering on requirements;
- a proven ability to build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and the ability to influence and work to achieve deadlines through others;
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines, with an impressive track record of meeting deadlines and responding productively to changing requirements;
- exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. This will include high level written and oral communication skills, the ability to present visual and audio material effectively and to interpret information for communication with a variety of audiences; and
- proficiency with Microsoft Office programs at an advanced level.
