The Bionics Institute Girls in STEM Mentoring Program aims to inspire high school students to follow a career in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

Students from a range of schools are mentored by leading female scientists over six months.

Each year, the program may include activities such as a tour of a laboratory or industry in action.

Watch this webinar to learn more about the Girls in STEM program and hear from:

– The school’s perspective of the program: Melissa Etherton, Director of Innovation and Enterprise at Loreto Mandeville Hall Toorak

– The mentor’s perspective of the Girls in STEM program: Dr Yingjie Hu, Technology Development Officer at the Bionics Institute

We would like to thank National Australia Bank for supporting the Girls in STEM Mentoring Program by providing funding towards administrative costs, with the aim of inspiring women to pursue innovative careers.
