Max Ortiz Catalán, head of the Neural Prosthetics Research Program at the Bionics Institute, details his research into bionic limb technology which integrates prosthetics with a patient’s bone, nerves, and muscles – enabling a person to ‘feel’ and accurately control their prosthesis as they would a biological limb.
