Associate Professor Shereen Oon
A/Prof Shereen Oon, MBBS (Hons), BMedSci, FRACP, PhD, is the Director of Rheumatology at St. Vincent’s Hospital, and a consultant rheumatologist at The Royal Melbourne Hospital, The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital and Eastern Health.
She has experience in basic science, clinical research and clinical trial research in rheumatology. She is an Honorary Research Fellow at the Bionics Institute and an Honorary Associate Professor at the University of Melbourne.
A/Prof Oon is currently involved in the Vagus Nerve Stimulation research program at Bionics Institute, as Coordinating Principal Investigator of the first clinical trial of abdominal VNS in Rheumatoid Arthritis.
