Bionics Institute welcomes new members to the Board of Directors

We are delighted to welcome three new members to the Bionics Institute Board of Directors.

Hannah Crawford, Sujata Stead and Mike Younger join our dedicated board at a time of rapid growth for the Bionics Institute.

Chair of the Board, Mr John Stanhope extended a warm welcome to the new board members, saying: “The Bionics Institute will benefit enormously from the wealth of expertise and business experience our new Board Directors bring. We look forward to working with them to continue building the Bionics Institute’s reputation as a world leader in medical device development.”

Ms Hannah Crawford

Ms Hannah Crawford is an experienced finance executive and board member. Commencing her career at Ernst & Young and Arthur Andersen, Hannah was a Director of Grant Samuel for 14 years, providing strategic financial advice to a range of high profile companies. Hannah says: “I feel extremely privileged to have the opportunity to work with the dedicated management team and Board of the Bionics Institute and look forward to contributing to the outstanding work to help transform people’s lives”.

Ms Sujata Stead

Ms Sujata Stead is CEO of Cambridge Boxhill Language Assessment, a company that has seen 1200% growth under her leadership and transforming its product, the Occupational English Test into a global leader in healthcare language assessment. Sujata says: “I am looking forward to working closely with the Bionics Institute Board and management team to ensure that life-changing medical devices are translated into clinical practice for the benefit of patients worldwide.”

Mr Mike Younger

Mr Mike Younger is a Portfolio Manager at Prime Value Asset Management having held roles in his area of expertise, small and micro cap equity funds management at Rest Super, Goldman Sachs and Citigroup. He says: “I am delighted to join the Board of the Bionics Institute at such an exciting time in its history, as it embarks on the development and commercialisation of several treatments that will prove life-changing for so many afflicted people around the world.”
