Veena D’Souza, Head of Finance; Executive Team
Veena D’Souza is Head of Finance at the Bionics Institute.
A registered Chartered Accountant and Certified Practising Accountant (CPA), Veena has over 30 years of experience in the field both in Australia and overseas.
Veena joined the Bionics Institute in 2018 and she leads a dedicated team of CPAs and Chartered Accountants, overseeing the financial operations of the Institute, ensuring that financial strategies align with its objectives.
Veena’s responsibilities extend beyond managing the finances of the Bionics Institute, to also establishing and overseeing the finances for spin-off companies set up by the Bionics Institute to commercialise medical devices for the benefit of patients.
Veena’s strengths lie in running a tight ship and her passion for ensuring that every Institute dollar is spent wisely.
